It is important that administration and management understand how to monitor and use the driver’s hours of service log.  Here is an example of a log which needs clarification and perhaps correction of some kind.  Checking the time card and the company‘s own delivery records will help to verify the information on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) required Hours of Service Log for trips beyond 150 miles from the plant.  Note: Falsification of records is fineable.  Speeding is dangerous to anyone life and the success of the company.
